About Us:

When I was but a young lad, I often wondered what it took to really be a “thug”. Was it the baggy clothes, the never-ending rage against the world, or the loud rap music, played loudly outside on the street until grandma told us to shut off “that degenerate garbage” and get back to work? Was getting money, riding dirty or hustling more important? As a young up-n’-comer, I was often lost, adrift in a sea of dope lyrics and shiny rims. I struggled every day to become the best thug I could possibly be, and in the end it paid off. But as much as I enjoyed the struggle, I realized one day that it shouldn’t be my right alone to be a thug. I shouldn’t have to hoard what should belong to everyone. In the end, I decided that it would be best to create Thug Fancy, a magazine dedicated to teaching young thugs the ropes.

Knowing I couldn’t do it alone, I hired a crack team of hood rats to help make my dream into a reality. So who are we?

Thug Fancy is:

George “O.G. Klev” Klevorn: Editor

Brian “M.C Rost” Rost: Defender of all things thugish

Luis “Skink” Rayas: Graphical Wizard, master of the visual arts

Parker “V-Maxxx” Vegemast: Dungeon of Rap denizen, expert on all topics related to the religion of rap and it’s various disciplines

Tyler “C-Sect” Carey: Resident translator of the thug vernacular

Arpit “Panboo” Panda: Thug guru, raising us all to a higher level of “thugness”

With these people at my side, there is no way that the young thug can go wrong. We’ve prepared guides, reviewed the essential rap albums and provided history on historical rap figures. With a copy of Thug Fancy tucked under your arm, you’ll know that if some clown gets in your face, declaring that he will be “bustin’ a cap in your face”, you should be armed with a .45 and not a 40. I hope that your rise to thug greatness will be some of the best years of your life, and I hope that we can be there every step of the way to help you to travel on.
